No light on Instrument Panel - Renault Clio 2002 model?

When i switched on the headlight last night, no light was on the instrument panel, i was wondering whether its a circuit fault or fuse fault or something else, (no idea how fast i was driving in the night ...)
anyone out there expereiened the same before?

If i have standard and its hard to put in gear what could it be?

i own a repair shop,and you need to check the fuse for it,then check and see if they are turned down,there's a control knob that brightens or dims them there by the switch if this is turned down you wont have any at all,but id say it probably blown a fuse,and that's a simple fix,good luck with it hope this helps.
