Use expensive polish. Wash and dry car first then use very soft polishing cloth to apply not in direct sun light. Use clean soft cloth to remove. Turning cloth regularly so that it doesn't clog, do not press to hard and only do a panel at a time. Keep polish away from black plastic trims and mouldings. Cads top tip once you have car looking good. Wash once a week in hot wax from halfords etc and you will have no need to hand wax for 6 months..Ps do not let on Cad knows about these things.

I have a black car also and I purchased a wax that's made by Turtle Wax. It's a spray. You just spray it on and wipe it with a cloth and then go back and wipe it off with a clean cloth. It's super easy and you don't have to buff. It didn't leave any marks on my car and water beads up on it just like a paste wax. Aren't our black cars beautiful when they're shiny? (-:

It takes about 45 days for new paint to harden (cure). Get a wax that has the least amount of abrasives in it. Mothers Carnuba wax has none, and will make your buggy shine! Synthetic lube for differentials...a problem?

avoid polishing it in hot sunshine do it in the shade otherwise the wax bakes into the paint. when you polish dont go in circles common mistake polish it in lenghs of the panell ie straight lines you wont get any anoying polish marks then and your car will look great.
