Question:
I have a 1997 Hyundai Elantra. My family knows that it's probably not going to last much longer but I'm trying to drive it as long as possible. Today when I was driving I noticed that the car didn't feel in control. I can't really describe it, it was sort of drifting even though i was paying close attention to my steering and it just didn't seem right. I just didn't feel like I had control (and I wasn't going more than 55-60) My dad thinks the tires might need air.
Does anyone know how to release the tension to change a 1991 mercury cougar serpentine belt?
I am almost positive it will need new brakes (again!) We know the transmission is going (it bucks when accelerating, especially when it's cold), but we aren't willing to put that much money into a 10 yr old car.
is "Natural Gas" o.k to use in ANY CAR?
I am taking it to the shop tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what the problem might be.
Thanks

check the air and also id check the alignment. If it's wandering that much you should park it because you're going to end up hurting someone or ending up in the ditch. Either your tie rod ends are really bad or ball joints, if these let go you're out of control. If you can't afford up keep on a vehicle don't own one.PLEASE STAY OFF THE ROAD!!!

I do not know about the drifting, but Hyundai's are notorious for hard shifting when the transmission output speed sensor fails, about a $50 part
