A salvage title means that the car would cost more to repair than its value.In most cases a salvage car will never be a good investment.Resellers buy these cars cheap and do the bare minimum to repair them for sale.(This means substandard repairs)If it was a flood car,the chances of continual electrical problems are likely.If it was involved in an accident,the chances of frame damage is likely.In the long run,you are better off spending the xtra money and not getting involved with salvage vehicles.

I've been in autobody all my life and have managed to save lots of money by repairing and driving salvage vehicles.If you buy and repair and use one yourself you can too.But with anything there are good and bad situations to watch for.Some vehicles have salvage title because of very minor damage and others should never even be reused.I bought a vehicle that was issued salvage paper because it was stolen and not recovered for more than 30 days,with no damage.And another that was crashed hard.
