Morning start up problem with a 97 Ford Contour?

Question:
I bought a 97 ford contour this past summer, and the first time i start up the car each day, it shuts off by itself after that it starts up no problem for the rest of the day till tomorrow.

Does running the heat in your car really take away how much gas you have?

The 02 and Temperature sensor were replaced but it did nothing.

You may want to have a throttle body service including your idle air control (IAT). Usually done with injector flush but you can have it done on it's own. This area may be dirty/gummed up, try slightly depressing the throttle at start up, not too much you don't want to over rev motor just raise it slightly to help it start. Happens if you do a lot of city driving and not much high speed.
