How do you replace OEM cluth, gas and break pedels for a 3000GT?

Question:
I'm looking to replace some OEM equipment with after market parts. However, when I look at the pedels I don't quite see how to remove them? Any tips would be helpfull

Engine on my car wont stop, why?

Most aftermarket pedals that you see simply fit over the stock pedals.

Why won't my car doors lock?

the "pedals" that you are referring to are actually just pads that fit really tightly over the metal structure of the pedal. You can cut them off by cutting vertically, up and down acrooss the rubber of the pedal pad then just pull the two pieces off. although of course if you ever want to put the o.e ones back on you will have to buy new ones from a dealer. sometimes you can get away with using a hair dryer on them to get that hard rubber a little more flexible but they do just pull off. Your best bet is to start on a corner and just pull that corner till it starts coming off. then work it off all the way around from there.
