Depends on how bad the leak is. If it's slight you can drive it for a while and keep checking the fluid level. Keep fluid in the car. If it runs out you can refill to get you home.
The slave cylinder on my Nissan van has been leaking for years, but not a lot. I just fill it up every couple of months.
