Question:
My friend's 94 Cadilac Eldorado overheats after he drives it for a long distance (over 45 minutes or so). Everything else seems pretty normal on it. Any ideas what could cause this?

it could start with a coolant flush, if the coolant has never been changed. or hasnt been for a while. You can also changed the thermostat just to be safe. it really east to do on the V8, it just two bolts.

Starter Problems?

Change the thermostat and make sure he has no clogging in the system. Flush the coolant system out. Check and make sure there is nor crap in the radiator too.
