best way to wash a car? hmm let me think... a hot chick in a bikini with a soapy sponge in your hand . haha. thats hot. jk. but no for real, make sure you wash your car when the sun is NOT out. many car dealers prefer you to wash it in the shade or cloudy day, so that the heat will not intervene and heat the car up. make sure the engine is cool and just use the car wash bottle u can get a walmart and low warm water with it.What oil weight do I need for my 351 cleveland motor?
i have found that soap and water work really wellGo to the car wash.
Inside pads on front brakes are worn alot more then outside pads. Is this normal or calipers bad?
i would say go to a car wash because i am lazy but if you are active enough to spend a little time out side then just use some soap, a dry cloth and a sponge to wash your car, oh and don't forget the water hoes!Make sure the car body is cool to the touch. Park the car indoors, under a carport or in the shade until you're ready to wash it. Use a garden hose with cool water, a clean pail and use plenty of soap (designed for car washing purposes; do not use dishwashing or laundry soap!). Get a large sponge or a mitt that's designed for washing cars. Flood the car with cool water, starting at the top. Dip the sponge or mitt in the pail of soapy water and wipe in circular motions, beginning at the top. Hose off the top, then do the uppermost surfaces of the vehicle, beginning with the windshield and windows, hood, front fenders, doors, trunk and then the rear fenders, flushing each surface as you finish it. Do the bumpers next, again using plenty of soap. Last, get a good wheel cleaner (I like Hot Rims) and spray it on the wheels; allow it to sit for a couple of minutes, then hose it off (make sure you don't get the wheel cleaner on painted surfaces). Remember to always do the top first which will eliminate streaking. Finish by using a genuine chamois to dry the car and finish by spraying ArmorAll on the tires. Stand back and admire the shine!
