Why am i losing power in my mondeo?
If you're certain that all the bulbs are good, then the only other way to check is to get a circuit tester and see if there's a broken wire, bad ground or perhaps a bad switch. Check the easy lights first, like the license plate light and/or the taillights since the dash lights are a stone bear to get at. By the bye, does your dome light work? If not, I'd say it's in all likelihood a bad switch. How do I remove advertising lettering from my truck window..?
In this case it is a bad head light switch. When you turn on the head light, inside the switch is not 1 but 2 and sometimes 3 connections inside 1 switch.
These turn on the headlights, the dash and wnat is commionly refured to as park lights.
Have the headlight switch checked or just replace it.
THis is assuming you checked the fuse as you srated. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is good
To me it sounds like a Relay switch.. or just a short in the Wire system somewere?
Has the car been in a accident or something? if not then I would lean toward a bad relay.. or somehow all those bulbs went out at the same time from a short.. try replacing just one of the bulbs and see what happens.. but like I just said i think it's a Relay then...
Oh no a dog haunting is there a canine exorcist available?
i own a repair shop, and you have a blown fuse for the running lights on it,replace it,and if it blows it again you may have a short in it,but its probably just a bad fuse they,ll do this once in a while ,its no big thing ,just replace the fuse with the right one,and they should work good again, good luck hope this helps.More Questions & Answers ...
