I have a 96 honda accord and recently my dashboard has shown a breaklamp light. What does this mean?

Question:
Also, the thing that shows the blue and the red icons is all the way past red.. im assuming this means the car is overheating. Is it because of the breaklamps? What are breaklamps and how do I fix this?
