it is a easy replacement assuming its a 5.2L or a 5.9L all you have to do is remove the belt the fan and the fan shroud. you may need a long wrench for the fan and also the thread on the the fan nut is LEFT HANDED! so watch out for that. if you cant get it loose try and hit the end of the wrench with a dead blow hammer. after that all you need to do is remove the water pump bolts and your there. just make sure you clean the old gasket off the motor and install the new one.

Look at it, before you replace it, take your time, and be verry careful with everything. This is an easy process, just ensure your gasket seals. Add a little rtv to help seal up.

1993 Chevy s10 blazer drop 4wd?

i own a shop and i,ll take you through it from beginning till end,first drain off all the coolant in it and disconnect the battery,then remove all the brackets from it,then remove the bolts to the pump,once off clean all the mating surfaces real good ,and install the new pump,make sure you tighten everything up as you go ,because some of the bolts you wont be able to get to once its back together,then re-install all the brackets and belts ,and hoses and install the battery cable ,fill it back up with coolant,and start it to make sure you have no leaks,and that's it,did two of those this week myself,good luck to you,on this,hope this helps.

the others are right about the water pump, just be careful of the bypass hose that comes off and up to the top of the engine it is a pain and if you break it a lot more has to come off to replace
