Question:
If so what is the best way to do it & what product should i use to flush the engine & its old oil ?
Answers:
What engine can I swap with my Jeep Cherokee '95?
Premium oils, synthetic or not, should prevent the buildup of any significant amounts of sludge. If you have been using a premium oil, then your engine likely would not benefit very much from a flushing. I used to have that done every other year, but due to the cost and the absence of detectable difference, I quit that. I now use Engine Sentry® inside my filter at oil changes, and a quality, 100% synthetic oil (like Mobil 1 or Amsoil).I know of no one that would find that necessary, I change mine every five thousand miles and swear by 100% synthetic oil, 5k is half the allotted mileage for oil change but have had my autos last a very long time, my old Toyota truck has 200k on it a runs perfectly, save your money and change oil on time that is all you need, buy a premium filter too.
that`s not really necessary, unless you never change your oil, if you have alot of sludge build up you might try Marvel Mystery Oil, it works pretty good, just make sure you read the directions. if the car has alot of miles that sludge might be kind of holding things together, it can also break loose large chunks that can clog oil ports which can be a problem.
I don't like flushing an engine. It could block some oil passages if you have a lot of `build-up' and is a waste of money. I run my vehicles until operating temperature, then drain the oil and remove the filter.I use a quality new filter and the correct oil . Done.
Are we ever gonna get a gas price break?
If you have changed the engine oil in accordance with the schedule you don't need flush treatment. My kia Sedona remote starter doesn't work properly?
However, it is also not a bad idea to flush it once every two years. Any popular brands will do the job. Just add in a can or so, with reference with the instructions, run the engine for a few minutes, replace the oil and filter.
How do you clean out a gas tank after it's been vandalized?
it depends on how dirty your engine is on the inside.if its too dirty, then you will have to drop the oil pan and clean it out,if you dont, then your oil pump can pick up loose dirt and clog up the pump.More Questions & Answers ...
