Is it good to take the studs out of studded tires?

Question:
I have had studded tires on my car for the last 2 winters. I have been told they are no good for studs after 2 years of use. A friend suggested using needle nose pliers to take the studs out of my tired because the tread is perfectly fine and we dont have the money to get all 4 new tires (we had to get rid of the 4 we took off last fall because they were worn). Does it hurt to take the studs out of your tires? It doesnt seem that it would hurt them at all. It took us an hour and a half but it saved us 150 bucks or so.

Anybody know where to find the crank sensor for a 97 Honda Civic.?

It's just fine but don't try to put new studs back in before winter returns! Once they have been removed, the holes have been ruined for putting new ones back in,!You will have to bite the bullet and buy new tires then,! Then is when you will have two sets!

KIA - lack of problems?

sure you can take them out and it won't hurt a thing, just a lot of work to get them out seeing they are put in with an air gun.
