Why does my integra run out its coolant so often?

i refilled the coolant two weeks ago, and its gone by now.
is it related to the head gasket?
if the head gasket is blown, how can i fix it?
is it better to put my car into an auto shop and fix it?

You could have a broken hose or a blown head gasket. If you head gasket is broke you will need a new one. You should take it to a shop if you are not go with tools. There is a lot of work to be done on that car.

I presume you didn't see any water leaking around the heads. If the car is not running roughly then its not getting into the cylinder and if you're not seeing water on the dip stick most probably its leaking from your water pump. There's a hole behind the pulley or sheeve on the water pump that usually starts leaking when the pump is worn out. Check to see if any water is leaking from the hole when the engine is running. Water pump $20-$200. Head gasket replacement is complicated with all the vacuum hoses and proper torquing of bolts.
A mechanic will probably charge $400-$800 for a head gasket because he'll have to take the head and get checked for cracks and that ties up stall space in his shop.
