How much is a scion tc rim?
Nope... a cold air intake is just a simplified version of your current plastic intake tube and air filter system which is usually baffled (to reduce noise), restrictive, and located in terrible positions in your engine compartment. A cold air intake usually routes colder air into the engine through a less restrictive tube and filter system. Anytime you can reduce restriction and get colder air into the engine you will make more power. just don't forget to reinstall any sensors that were in your old intake tube (mass air sensor, IAT sensors, etc.). Many people will simply buy a 2 or 3 foot piece of tubing (stainless, exhaust tubing, etc) and have an exhaust shop with a mandrel bender bend it up for them... then add a nice aftermarket filter that's sized properly and you're good to go. There are also kits available for most vehicles through ebay, K&N, Fram and others. Good luck!
