Question:
My sun"turd" drives just fine then it'll shake and sound like its gonna die (its a really short shutter, usually 4-5 seconds, and happens in spurts, nothing for 2 days, than 5 times in 10 minutes...). I thought I was bad fuel, ran the tank empty, refuelled-still happened. Thought it was my fuel pump, mechaninc said it is fine. Though my gas gauge was bummed and out of fuel, then it wouldnt start for 5 minutes-got fuel pump checked again. It feels like what happens when you press the gas pedal and your car is reving normally (usually high-i drive it too hard for a 4-banger) then is not getting fuel al of the suddenThe my engine light came on, my butthead step-dad unplugged the battery so when I brought i back to the mechanic they couldnt read the computer-they took it for a drive, nothing, coundnt find anything, plus cost my 65 bucks...This little car seems to run fine , except for this. It has been doing this for 2 1/2 weeks, but no one can fix it cause they dont know what is going on

It that isnt it...It could be you Torque Converter Control solenoid...this will cause your car to be stuck in overdrive...And it willl cause a shudder sort of like you are lugging a standard transmission car in 5 gear at 15 miles an hour.
