96 GMC 1500 4X4 Pickup...?

Question:
On slow acceleration there is a vibration, shimmy, hop thing going on in the front end!? If you accelerate fast its not there and just cruising along its not there. Any suggestions on what it may be? It doesn't sound like its in the motor and the tac isn't showing any fluctuation when it happens.

You might check your front differential..Make sure it is full of the correct lubricant...It could be your gearing in that differential binding up.

sounds to me like a motor mount is broken

Does this sound right to you?

check the motor mounts and trans mount or is it locked in 4 high?check the tires for balamcr or shifted belt
