Question:
car is very hard to start when gas is over 1/4 tank.when lower it starts perfect.changed most censors & only found 1 vac leak.can smell gas when it starts after long winding over.testing showed 02 censor but put new 1 in.still same thing.any help would be great

I assume you have check for fuel tank leaks, and fuel pump seal. With a fuel injection system it could be air getting into the lines and fuel injection needs high pressure.

My other thought off the top of my head is the computer itself could be bad, 96 was a change over year for the OBD II system and it contols about 15 more sensors than an obd I. If the computer was bad it could be running rich, sending bad error codes or just making it run bad/start bad. Computers are always the wildcard because when they break it can do any number of things.
