What else should I get. Im working on getting my alarm this week. Should I have gotten the club instead? Should I get my car re keyed? How much does that usually run?

An alarm and a kill switch are great.
The Club will also deter theft and did you know they make a devise like the club that fits under your brake pedal?
If it's a manual tranny get one for the clutch pedal too!

Get a mechanic to install a starter cut off switch, and hide it in a odd place. What it will do is cut the power to the starter so the car can't be started, most thieves won't dick with a car if they can't get it started quickly....and the switch, relay and wiring should only cost about $20....and maybe 1/2 labor if you have a mechanic do it.

Re key just the doors, the ignition is to cumbersome and time consuming to do (read- Expensive). You can also pull the starter relay from the fuse panel- usually under the hood, back by the fire wall, drivers side, untill you get it rekeyed, if it's a modern car. find the fuse box and look on tthe cover for the explanations and find the starter relay,, pull it when you park.
