I live in Reno, NV. Would I have to follow the severe duty matienance schedule for operating in a dusty area?

Question:
A few of the dealers I asked whether to follow A or B maintenance schedule and they said since you live in Reno to follow the B schedule with more maintenance and shorter intervals. Reno is in the desert, but I hardly see dust blowing around.

Someone's car scraped against my front side fender and left black material - how to remove?

all you need to do is change the air filter more often or if you have a air compressor blow a fair bit of pressure through the filter the opposite way it normally flows, you will see lots of dust fly out keep going until the dust stops or hover the filter might work too. what the dust will affect is as the air filter gets more clogged the car will run richer which will waste fuel take from the power of the car and the extra petrol can damage you catalytic converter

How cruise control in cars work?

i own a repair shop, and yes it would be better to follow that schedule on maintenance work ,especially in that area, because of all the dusty conditions out there ,but that's the schedule id go by,good luck,i hope this help,s.
