4-stroke motors in-take valves.?
If it is a radiator, just go to AutoZone or O'Reillys and buy a new one. I wonlt not get a used one. But, if you don't see anything leaking on the ground and the car is not overheating, then I don't think it is the radiator. Also, on the other problem you are having, more info is needed. A leaking radiator would not cause the problems that you are having at red lights. That sounds like more of a tune up problem. When was the last time it had a "major" tune up? Might be time. How do i check my manual transmission oil?

I have a chevy 383 strokermotor that i is still sitting on the engine stand?
If it is a small leak, try Stop-Leak. It is available at most all auto parts stores. There are other remedies too such as black pepper or corn flakes. but I would go with the stop leak.
How to start a car that ran out of oil?
I think more information is needed to answer this question. Is the radiator actually leaking water? Can you see water dripping out from underneath the radiator? Is the engine running hot? Too many unknowns here. Also, a radiator problem would not have anything to do with the car "easing up" at a stop light etc.Dose abs matter in your axles?
Your best option is to buy a new radiator. You could check eBay, or the local salvage yards. Other then that, (assuming it's a brass radiator and not plastic) you need to pull the radiator out of the vehicle, locate the leak, and braze it with a torch and brazing rod. The torch will have two cans of gas, oxygen any (usually) MAP gas. You can find them at any hardware store. Sand the hole with some sandpaper, then heat it op with the torch until it melts the brazing rod. First check the hoses, and make sure it's not just a leaky hose or loose hose clamp. What would take a deep scratch out of a car?
A new radiatior only costs about $100. It would be crazy to go through all the cost and trouble of pulling an old radiator out and patching it. When radiators start to leak, they're generally ready to fail alltogether.More Questions & Answers ...
