Something is obviously draining your battery. Check for the stupid little things, such as parking lights on (if equipped), dome light left on, etc. These are the usual causes.Parasitic Load.

Sounds like a parasitic drain. Do you have a multimeter? If so you can check for this by checking the amperage draw between the negative post and terminal (disconnected), there is too much drain if you see more than, say, ~.2aAfter how many miles Geo Prizm needs Tune Up? What all should be done in Tune up?
If you don't have the means for this, check around for any lights that are not turning off after you pull the key, or anything left on that might be drawing power. Alternatively, you may be losing power across the top of a wet battery, but since yours is new then I doubt that could be happening.
Keep in mind that this will not be caused by the starter or alternator. The only exception is that you may have wires either touching or loose on the starter, but if it happens every time then this isn't too feasable.

sounds like your leaving something on make sure fan , radio, everthing is shut off doors are closed glove box etc.one of two things. alternator is not working correctly and u are slowly draining battery as u drive or u have a short somewhere that leaves something running. for example, this happened to me and it turned out that my car radio which i had wired up directly so i didnt need to have car turned on to operate it had a short in it and was draining battery. it can be hard to find a short. one way to do it is to pull one fuse at a time and run a meter across the terminals. see if it is drawing elec when it shouldnt and that will be the circuit u will need to investigate. for now what u can do so u can start your car the next day is to just unplug your battery so it doesnt drain down overnight.

Take the car in to a repair shop and let them find why you are having a current drain.

alive ground or the battery frog top.Have you had the alternator checked? if the alternator doesn't charge the battery correctly, you will end up with a flat batt. If the alternator is ok, then something is draining it overnight. It's probably going to be a light left on somewhere that you don't notice... like in the boot, and it doesn't go off when you shut it. Get it checked because you don't want to find it's a short that will cause a fire.
It is actually possible that although it's a new battery, one of the cells inside could have collapsed, and then it won't hold a charge.
