'97Wrangler, idle adjustment, it's really fast(1800-2000rpm)?
yes......you'll lose all the brake fluidYes they will. What will happen is that you will loose all your brake fluid. After you loose all your fluid then there will be no hydraulic pressure to push the pistons out and your wheel cylinders also. So it would be very dangerous to drive like that.
body shop work can i buy the parts?
You will begin losing fluid and this could lead to total brake failure. Is it possible to build your own uninterruptible power supply?
Yes. If your brake sytem is open to atmospheric pressure, you'll certainly lose fluid and more importantly, you'll lose the pressure needed inside the lines to jam the brake pads against the wheels to stop them.Help! My headlights are acting weird!?
Most modern brake systems are cross-connected. Right front to left rear and left front to right rear. You will lose brakes to the pair that leaks. You will also find it takes a LOT more pedal force to stop the car and your brake wear rate will double. In other words, get your butt to the local Meineke ASAP (well any good shop but these guys are the best in the local burg ... not cheap but the best). :-)My car won't start in the freezing temperature.?
P.S. No. I don't work there or know anyone there but I've never had to go back to get a repair corrected.
Engine light on just shy of 40,000?
NO. sometime in the mid 1900's a law was passed making the car manufacturers put dual piston master cylinders on vehicles that separate the system. one side of the system will still work if the other loses pressure.when i go over the bumps and dips and etc? my car squeaks! what can it be?
No, you will not lose all braking...the master cylinder is made up of two sections, the larger is the front brakes (for disc brakes in the front) and smaller section for drum brakes(inthe rear)...If you have 4- wheel disc, the chambers are both the same size... NOW, when you get a leak and lose the fluid in one part, the master cylinder is designed with a 'Mechanical' type of piston length so that it will apply both, even if one side lost the fluid...when you find that you have indeed blown a line, don't put off getting it repaired and rebled for full braking....SAFETY FIRST, and it costs less than a traffic accident!More Questions & Answers ...
