Question:
So I have a 2002 Dodge Neon with 50,000 miles.
The yellow , I'm assuming check engine, light comes on periodically, and I'll start driving and it'll jerk. Sometimes, it'll shut off.
Also, before it does that, it'll take longer then usual to start. I'll need to crank it for a good 2 seconds before it turns over.
Any idea what it might be?

1. No fire. (check spark plugs - the connection may be bad, the spark plugs themselves may be bad, or too much corrosion...which can be fixed temporarily with coke just poured on)

I have a '96 plymouth neon that has almost exactly the same problems as yours seems to have. The check engine light on my car used to come on, and stay on, when seemingly nothing was wrong. My car also started to take a lot longer to start when it got really cold outside, and the idling sounded terrible. We thought that it might be the gas, so I usually try to keep the tank almost full and add dry gas to it. Sometimes that works. As for the engine light... I don't really know what to tell you.My speedometer doesn't work sometimes either. (Manufacturing defect.) <3 plymouth
