Question:
This morning it was a little cold. When I turned on the car, instead of just idling smoothly, it went... vrrrmm.... vrrrmm.... vrrrrmmm... while it was idling. After I drove off, it was fine. When I was stopped at lights, it was fine. Even after I hadn't drove it in a while, it idled perfectly. It only did that this morning, but I was was wondering why? By the way, it is a 2.4 L engine 4 cylinder twin cam. I installed bosch spark plugs that require no gapping.

The only thing that comes to mind is moisture. Use WD-40 to spray the inside of the distributor cap & Rotor. FYI, WD-40 will not conduct electricity. Its also replaces water/moisture. Try it.More Questions & Answers ...
