i want to upgrade the exhaust on my car. can someone tell me where to start ? when i say where to start i mean what parts should i buy and the order of their installation. any help will be appreciated!

Headers, Full flow Cat, Cat Back system for the car, a Good muffler (None of this it's round and loud crap. Might as well just leave the exhaust system off the car) a welder (Bolt on kits cause too many problems. I see them leak more often then not) and a way to support the car while the pipes are installed. If you want to save your self some time get the parts you need and take it to a muffler shop. Have them install the system this way it is done correctly and they can make any changes needed. Like if you need to have a different hanger installed or you need to cut the old pipe off. It's worth the money.

Depends on what you want to achieved. Do you want a significant power increase or just for the looks/appearance? If you really want to have more power, will need to change right from the header all the way to the muffler. If you want only for appearance, than just change the muffler will do but don't expect any much increase in performance.
