Why does my car go forward when in reverse gear?

Question:
Tonight my car would not reverse at all then i got transmission fluid added to it and now when in reverse gear it goes forward. Why is my volvo doing this? Do I need a new reverse gear?

it is your gear selector that is at fault. the transmission should be fine.

A muffler leaks water out of it then if gas-smoke comes out of it then with it turn the water into a gas?
