The cigarette lighter in my car stopped working -- any ideas for an easy fix?

I use my cigarette lighter to charge my cell phone and to listen to my ipod. This week it stopped sending juice to the adaptors. Any ideas what might be wrong and if it's even possible to fix it w/out taking it to a shop and paying an arm & a leg?

You should buy a kit that has a variety of fuses w/fuse puller/tester. They are around $10-15 at most auto stores. You can test your cig fuse and have spares for later. Just make sure you look to see if you need the standard (around 5/8" long) or mini (around 1/4" long).

Car type?? Maybe check the fuse box good chance thats ya problem.When inserting the adaptors they somtimes arc nothing to worry about ,but thats anoth to blow a fuse.I dont know the car where talking about but usaually they can be found right hand side (drivers side) under dash.
