Question:
in the underhood fuseblock position 30 is a 30 amp fuse marked BTN\hi mount stoplight. dosent seem to have anything to do with brake lights,when its out the car cranks but wont start.anybody know what a BTN is?ive called 3 dealerships in the area & none of them do.

The fuse you are looking at feeds the BTN bus in the passenger fuse panel. It feeds the stoplights, interior lights, and Electronic Control Unit (engine computer). This circuit is always live, even with the key out of the ignition.

They should know that fuse. When they prep a car for delivery they put on the hubcaps, screw on the antenna, peel off the plastic, and insert the BTN fuse that supplies memory power to the onboard electronics.
