I wanted to know the normal maintance for a car?

Question:
I just wanted to know what should be done each month, year, and every couple of years to the car. I know oil changes are every 3 months, but what about flushing the fuel injector, transmission fluid, brakes, etc. Just everything that needs to be done to a car regularly. Please help me out, thanks!

My car cuts off arther driving for awhile?

the most important thing that som many people neglect to do is change there OIL! . the oil is by far the most important thing that need to be done . every 3,000 miles or 6 months u need to change you oil and every time u do change the oil filter too. i cant tell you how many people have killed there engines of there nice cars because of a 25$ oil change. when the oil breaks down it looses the ability to lubricate the pistons and crank and it tears up the engine making it flat and weak. you wil loose tons of power and gas mileage and start to burn oil because of the piston rings are worn out. also the ovbious ones are the brakes and transmission. and i would say to replace your air filter and tune your car up every 12k miles. (spark plugs / spark plug wires / distributor car and electrode / pcv valve / and even your fuel filter) ive seen alot of fuel pumps die because of clogged fuel filters made them work so hard they burnt out. (very costly) have a mechanic changee your trans fluid every 50k or 60k miles. and another thing u can do to keep costly repairs down is grease your front end. there are a few little nipples that u hook up to a grease gun and inject them wiht grease. it will keep everything in your front end lubricated so nothing wears out prematurely like a ball joint or somthin that can cost hundreds to get fixed ... you can also spray all of the rubber bushings on like the ball joints and c-v shafts with W-D 40. or a similar lubricant. dont use stuff for breaking nuts and bolts loose. but spray all the boots down even the strut boots and anything that looks rubber on the front end and it will keep them from cracking and leaking out all there lube or getting tons or dirt and garbage in them so they get messed up and cause problems.

Used Car Paint Job?

Most maintenance schedules are specific to the individual car and the driving conditions. There should be a schedule in your service manual.

How much cost to fix car harness wiring?

Most injectors today are self-cleaning. The transmission fluid on an auto should be every 50K or so..the same would be good on a manual too. Also, look at the differential fluid if you have a rear wheel drive or 4X4 (and the transfer case on the 4X4). Brake pads have a wear sensor, so when you hear them start to squeal, replace them. Need to have the A/C serviced every year. Every two years, flush the radiator.

Checking an altenator for output?

i own a repair shop and there's not as much maintenance involved as you might think there is,look in the owners manual for your car it has the best maintenance schedule that there is in it,they spent a lot of time writing and printing this book, and it contains some of the best free advice, and information you can get,yet most people wind up loosing it some how,but if you have it read it,you,ll be surprised of what you can learn from it,good luck i hope this helps.

For Those Of You Who THINK Mechanics Charge Too Much Money For Their Services?

there are many factors influence the car maintenance rate such as way of driving, weather condition...in general for better care with ur car i suggest u do it every 10,000 mile, and u check for oil level, water level and these regular things every week!.
