probably forward clutch not pump if was pump nothing would work you need an overhaulPull pan of bottom of tranny change filter. Or it could be the pump. If that doesn't work it need to be rebuilt.

It is likely the pump but it could be a clutch. With out pulling the pan thats all any of us will be able to say. Luckily these transmissions are common and in-expensive. Oh I say the pump because I had the same problem in my old c10. Which was the pump. You would put it in a forward gear and it would go nowhere. In reverse it would go if you reved it up a bit. But I guess to the guy below me that is some how funny sounds like he is the clueless one.need info on a automotive question?
