I have an 84 Chevy Suburban, 4WD with a 6.2 Diesel engine. Liong story short, I left my lights on, and killed the battery. I let it charge off our Pontiac. Since i was the only one outside to jump it, After the the vehicle started, the cables were left on for about 8 seconds, long enough for me to run out and pull them off. To make sure I didnt burn any fuses, I shut the vehicle off, then started it up again. It started perfect, quick turn of the starter, and it was runnign fine. I let it idle for about 3 mins, then went to drive for a while to get full charge. I notices my volts gauge was MAXED out, and the temp gauge was reading about middle. this was odd because the temp gauge shouldn't work at all, the dashboard has a gauge and the sensor is for a dummy light, just never changed sensor. Anyway, I stop, shut it off, then went to start again. Nothing, no pwer inside at all, like theres just nothing there. Headlights work, just nothing inside, wont turn glow plugs wont cycle, nothing.

What's the different between strut bars / lower arms vs. sway bar?
You burnt out the fuse-able link at the starter.Older Chev's are famous for it.

Why my starter housing break after i?
Remove the battery cables and clean the connections, while your at it use a slow charger to recharge the battery's, check the belt to be sure its tight, the worst that can happen is you may have blown a diode in the alternator but not likely, it sound like the cables are dirty and just need cleaning. Good Luck and GOD BlessWhats the difference between snap-on tools and Blue Point?
check your fuse box, find this in a consumers repair manual for your car, your manual for the car, or a professionals repair manual. then check ALL the fuses. (20$ fix 15-20 for the book and like 60 cents for a fuse) if that doesnt solve the prob then check electrical flow in all your cables wires etc. when you find the defective wire, replace itI'm not really to good with wirring unless im actually in front of the car itself. But useually there is a set of relays and big fuses under the hood check those and just work your way back from the battery to the dash if you have to. Good luck
