How do i get an extra 50 horses out of my grand prix?
i dont think that is the problem i would say the bearings are going bad in your alternator take it to autozone or somewhere like that and they can test it for you have a great day.Where can i get a cheap set of roll bars?
Spilling a little antifreeze shoudn't have made it stop working. Just blow it dry with some air. If you really want to see if it works or not just take it off the car and take it to a local parts store. Most of them will test it for you right there on the spot and let you know if it is putting out enough volts.Low warning light comes on my scenic?
What did you spill the fluid on? Need a better explanation. Did you put an alternator on? Wait until it drys out.Should i fix the head gasket or get a used engine!?
dis-connect all battery terminals and get some brake parts cleaner spray can from local autoparts store and spray entire contents into alternator until can is empty then take a high pressure air hose and blow entire unit dry re-connect battery and start vehicle once vehicle starts dis connect positive terminal from battery if vehicle stays running you should be fine take to autoparts store and have them check voltage current from and to alternator most retail outlets will check voltage regulators starters and alternators for freeSpilling fluid into the alternator then running it will cause it to fail... did you smell or see any smoke? Make sure the fan belt is tight then try this test..
Start the car and with it running remove the positive terminal, if the car stays running then the alternator is good, if the car dies then it is bad.
