My serpentine/fan belt is squealing; how do i make it stop?

I support a few race car drivers in my area and we have had debates about this on and off. What it comes down to is how they are turned and how much material is available for turning them, when you are talking about a rotor that is designed to dissipate heat very quickly (That’s what the holes and the slots are for) the fatigue on the metal is extremely high. During most races your breaks never cool down below 140 degrees. They can heat up as hot as 450. This constant heating and cooling fatigues the metal and makes it very brittle. There is barley enough material on the rotors to hold them together (You need them light for better performance.) So often times by turning them and making them true, you’re removing too much metal and causing the rotors to be out of spec. Now on a normal street car that uses them this is often not the case and the rotors are not nearly warped enough to take off that much metal. I would locate a performance shop that is use to working on rotors like this and have them do it. They are skilled and have the correct equipment to do the job. Expect to pay a premium price to have it done but at least you will know it is done right. Personally I find the breaks perform better with new rotors after each race. They are often cheap and cost effective when you have good suppliers. We pick up a set of 4 for 350 bucks.

Why doesn't my car want to reverse uphill?

Most places wont touch either due to the liability risk. There's really nothing preventing you from doing it, but it will make them even more prone to cracking than they already are, and they can get jammed up in the cutting tool if they adjust to cut out too much material at once.

Which gas tank repair kit brand is the best ?

They are not designed to be cut because the dye that cuts the rotor will catch the hole's and break.

Why does my drive shaft keep braking?

Turn? Do you mean machine down? If that then of course they can, but it is not a good idea. Also, Drilled/Slotted rotors wear the brake pads less cause they have less mass on the pads.

i own a repair shop and they can be turned but they will tell you before they ever put them on the machine that there not going to be liable for them if they break ,and they have been known too,but it can also break the cutter on there machine also, that's why a lot of places wont turn them, but i have heard that ,but there's not much truth to it,they can be turned, but it takes probably 3 times as long to do it,good luck i hope this helps.
