Question:
Hi Wonder if someone can help. I have a Y reg Clio and the inside of my boot is getting wet. I have lifted the carpet and it looks like its coming up fro, the holes beneath the spare wheel. It looks like when it was new that it had something above the spare which stopped this problem, however this is no longer with the car. Does anyone know do Renault do a replacement one, or a retrofit or something.......... Help!

I owned an old Toyota once. When I went to change a tyre I found a piece of wood that someone had cut to shape and put it in the boot. When I took the wood away I saw a couple of holes like you describe on your Reno - I think it has something to do with how the spare wheel was originally fitted to the car. I'm not sure if Reno can replace it, or re-fit your spare but my guess is they'll charge a lot for it. Maybe fit a piece of wood or use some duct tape to fill the gap? If they're manufactured holes then you should be able to buy rubber plugs to fit from any accessory shop.More Questions & Answers ...
