I put 4 gals of desiel in my gasoline 2500 hemi truck when it was on empty and drove it about 3/4 of a mile and noticed what I did. Is the engine completely gone? or how much will something like this cost to fix?

Well deisel is just oil..... it wont hurt the engine much..... I would run regular gas through it now, it should clean out the oil....What is causing my tail lamp to malfunction?
You can fix it. It should not be a big problem. You will have to drain the tank and lines as much as possible then refill with gas.It will not start immediately but once the diesel is flushed through the system it should be ok. Diesel is much like an oil. So it should not be much of a problem once it is purged from the system. Good luck

I will burn all the carbon out of the engine. It won't hurt it.No, you did not damage the engine. The engine simply will not run on diesel, so if its still running the diesel has not reached the engine yet. Best thing to do is get all the diesel out of the tank and fuel system. If the engine is still running you can probably siphon all the fuel out of the tank and then top off with gas. This will dillute any remaining fuel.
