To get a warranty on a rebuilt compressor. You MUST replace the accumulator/dehydrator(80-100 bucks) and the variable oriface (20 bucks)(good luck finding that!) and flush the condensor and evaporator and the lines.
After putting all the parts in you must draw a 28" mercury vacum for 45 minutes on the system, service special oil in very specific amounts and then put in an exact charge of r-134A refrigerant by weight- Wrong amount it may not work at all and might trash new compressor!
Old refrigerant must be recovered by a certified recover machine and filter and then reused(kinda good) If you just vent it into the air it WILL go into the upper atmosphere and destroy the Ozone layer and we all get skin cancer and die.
