Zzr 600 e bike splutters when i rev up and back fires?
I'm pretty sure that hydraulic lifters requires between zero to one turn past backlash (depending on make or model; i.e., Chevrolet spec. is one turn past backlash). To achieve backlash, rotate the engine to bring the first piston to top dead center on compression (both valves closed). Check the rocker to ensure there is no tension on it. Then tighten until it does not move. When all the "play" is removed, continue tightening until specification is achieved. This will only apply is you do not rocker arm assemblies. To adjust these, make sure there is no adjusting screws on the push rod end of the rocker arm. If there are adjusters, you have solid lifters and each valve requires a specific clearance. If there are no adjusting screws, then you have hydraulic lifters. For the latter, there is no adjustment beyond torquing the rocker arm assemblies to the head.
What is the setting for a 1979 Lincoln Town Car Spark Plug Gap?
Haynes publications will have that information in the repair manual they print for your make and model vehicle.
i think fords has positive stop adjustment.just turn the engine by hand until the first rocker is on the low cam and torque the nut and do the same with the rest of them.at least thats the way it was on a 74 ford truck i had.it had a 302 in it.

New fuel sending unit and new fuel gauge. How do you match the two so it works correctly ?
Disconnecting the coil cable from the dist cap and turning it will pump the lifters upwhile the rockers are loose on the pushrods will pump them up. Then rotate the pushrods with your fingers in their positions until you get enough rotational resistance.tighten the adjusting nut on the rocker 1/4 turn
and tighten the lock nut.repeat this procedure for all lifter/pushrod config.cranking the engine in between each cyl to ensure no loss of hyd psi.
