Apparently the dealer has a way of stopping the dash board warning of not wearing the belt.
I know you can plug it in, and then unplug to stop the noise.
But there is a permanent way.
Any ideas please.

One way of stopping the annoyance is to plug the belt in before you sit down, the belt is then between you and the seat, you don't feel it and it stops the warning.To all the bleeding hearts going on about wearing the belt, read the rules please, cabbies don't have to wear it if they are carrying a fare paying passenger.

I know you don't have to wear it when you're carrying passengers. There's a system in the seat that detects your backside on it & triggers the warning. Either disconnect the wiring under the seat or plug the belt in & sit on it, it's up to you!go to a scrap yard find a mondeo cut the buckle off use it on yourse when not working take it off THEN USE YOUR SEAT BELT LIKE ALL OF US
