I have just installed a new radiator on a 97 dodge neon stick-shift. As I went to try and start mt car, it made a humming noise and nothing else. I checked my battery and it has power and is not weak. What could the problem be?

more than likely you have a bad connection on your ground wire either the connection at the battery or where it is grounded at the frame or at the starter.your battery can be fully charged and run all your accessories fine but it pulls a lot of jct to the starter to start it and if wires are lose or dirty at ant of the connections it will not pull enough power to crank the starter over try moving and playing with the wires from the battery especially the ground good luckMore Questions & Answers ...
