Why is my 1999 Pontiac Grand AM still running hot?
Try pulling out the circuit breaker on that circuit so it can reset itself. Or disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes and see if that resets the Low Coolant warning sensor.Mouldy wood floor because long time leak pipe, shall I really change it or has some methods?
Because it's playing games with your head.Did you check the level after the thermostat opened?
Where is the fuel filter located on a 2003 lincoln navigator, I can't find it?
Probably a bad sensor in the coolant overflow bottle, unless the sensor is in the radiator. You may want to check the coolant level in the radiator (make sure you wait until the car is completely cooled off). If the radiator and overflow bottle are both full its a bad sensor. My 1984 Ford F150 wont start.help me!?
It may be a faulty sensor or a loose electrical connection somewhere.Hearing rushing liquid after installing intake/air filter in turbo eclipse?
check your coolant level to be sure but most likely your sensor is bad and its giving you a faulty lightIt actually happens often...take a look along side your overflow tank/reservoir, near the front...there should be a plastic connector with two wires connected there. That is your low coolant sensor.
Is a rebuilt motor just as good and/or reliable as a brand new motor?
After years of use, the coolant tank gets deposits in it, and so does the sensor. Watch your level for a day or two, keeping it slightly above the "hot"/high mark helps. It may clear itself, my Buick did after I changed the radiator. If not, then the sensor may have to be pulled and cleaned/replaced, not an easy job.
Where check balls go in valvebody in a 85 turbo 400?
While all of these answers may seem right, more than likely you may have an air pocket in the system. (depending on how low it was)Leave the cap off and let the car idle and eventually the coolant will drop..after its warmed up so the thermostat will open.I had the same problem with my car and the problem is dirt in the coolant sensor on the bottom of the overflow tank, take a rubber mallet or rubber hammer and smack the side of the overflow tank a couple of times and it will dislodge the dirt from the sensor and your problem will be cured.
How much would it cost to fix a dent above the back wheel of my car? its about 6 inches long??
the reason why your low coolant light is still on is because there is a switch inside the over flow jug that might of got stuck in the downward position or the wire on the sensor came loose the first and cheapest thing to do is to check the plug on the over flow jug if loose snap it back in place if light don,t go out then take the jug off and flush it well with water and put it back on if that dose not fix it then go to you local junk yard and get another one it a lot cheeper than the dealer : pick one that is clean as possible. : the reason these senors go bad is due to the antifreeze building up a deposit on the sensor inside the jug and you realy want to go the very very very cheap route and you trust your vehicle you can find the sensor on the over flow jug and splice the two wires together and the light should go out if not then seperating them and the light will go out depends on the set up your car has (also remeber you will not have a sensor to tell you have low coolant if you go that route and rember to tape the wires too)More Questions & Answers ...
