Car strain?

Question:
I am thinking of taking up a job that involves short term deliveries with my own car. Its a late model sedan in good condition, but I am wondering what special maintenance precautions I should take with all the starting and stopping I will be doing. What parts are more likely to break this way? What is thier replacement cost?

Answers:

Why is the ABS warning light on?

there a couple of items to be looked at. One is the brakes...make sure they are in good repair and have them inspected frequently. Probably the less obvious will be the starter and or battery...both will be worked alot doing this. And lastly...normally one would change the oil every 3000-4000 miles.with your idle time and such you should look at doing the 3000 mile thing or perhaps even 2500 as there is a lot of idle time that doesn't show up on the odometer.
