Question:
When I am at a stop or in traffic, the car is like spitting. I have had this problem before but it was because I was in the conutry and put rancid gas in the tank which had too much water in it. I'm thinking it could be my spark plugs, or the spark plug wires. It just started doing this this morning and the check engine light came on. Could it have just started just like that or have I been ignoring something more serious to do with the engine. Anyone who got somes sudgestions, I would really appreciate it. The cars' in the shop already, but because of the long week end, they will only take a look at it on Tuesday, so this gives me a enough time to find out what is possibly wrong with the car, and if I have to sell my soul to the devil to pay for it!

could be several things the plugs ,wires, fuel filter, fuel pump iac valve its best to wait and see what the diag tells them with any luck its just a misfire code that a tune up will fixThe same thing happened to my friend. What I would do is first change the spark plugs and the wires because that was the problem with his. I would check the wires before buying new ones. Also has the radiator fluid or transmission fluid gone low. My car sputters when it stops because the transmission is slipping on take offs. I hope this works.
