My Garmin Navigation 330 is not charging,,why?

Question:
I was given a Garmin navigation device 330. I have tried differnet cords and it doesnt charge. I checked the fuse and it did work great until the battery level went low..now it's too low to even turn on and it doesn.t charge,,,why?

There is a front faceplate on the unit. Look under the garmin name and use your fingernail to remove the front face plate. Hit the reset button on the side then connect the unit to external power to see if the battery will charge. If not, the unit has to be returned to garmin
