Car: 1989 Ford Thunderbird, 3.8 V6 with AOD tranny. 110000 miles.
What is the most cost effective way to paint my truck? Materials? Spray Paint? Etc. Thanks.?
My tranny doesnt feels so good. It hasnt since i got the car. the shifts are sloppy, especially 2-3. Downshifts are also bad, some times VERY hard shifting from 4 to 3. There is also a large delay when downshifting from 4th. It will take anywhere from 3 to 7 second to fully shift. even when i manually shift it out of OD.
I changed the fluid and filter at 98000 miles, and it is at the correct level. There are no leaks. I have replaced the tranny mounts, and an engine mount. I have used additives, such as Lucas, with no help, i have even adjusted the TV (throttle valve) cable. There is no vacuum module on these cars.
which one is better honda 1.8 sohc vtech or toyota altis 1.8 vvti, in Pakistan ?

Are the radiator fans normally supposed to still be running after the car has been shut off?
what about when you really get on to it,does it drag out or does it slip?does it have a electric downshift?if you are going to keep the car,get a shift kit for it.ill guarentee it will shift better.i just remembered,it could be the sensor inside the tranny,that runs the clutch type converter.Why is my light on? My Toyota Corolla 2006 LE has the maintance light on?
