i have a question about redline underbody light kit ?
Is a possibility. May want to test the battery first to make sure its not dead yet. If thats good, then it is defenitely the starter. Good luck.what is recalibrated? in your spedometer?
I t very well could be a starter but you should have it checked first. How can I take care of my car in such a way that it will last longer?
i was told to start my car in neutral if it does not start in park, try this, or get ur starter checkedi own a repair shop, and first check the battery ,then check the cables that go from the battery to the starter,,also check the ground wire to it,if all this checks good id say you need a new starter,,but check the battery real good first,,sometimes a loose cable will make you think the battery or the starter is bad on it,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.
Do cars fart since they have gas?
You might want to have your battery connections cleaned and tightened. Sometimes a loose cable will do the same thing.from the little you have given, I would say that you are looking at the starter "solenoid". (that is a part of the starter which makes the "heavy" connection to the battery for the starter motor. These use to come as a seperate part on many cars for many years and as far as I know most still do seperate. You may be lucky and maybe not. (It is far cheaper to replace the solenoid, than the starter motor.) Any garage can tell you what is up if they try it.
Could also be a bad battery.
HELP ME! i have a poor 85 camaro :(?
As the other posters to your question had stated...check to see that your battery water level is topped off, is fully charged, and the terminals cleaned...how do i get the rotors off a 79 f-150 4wd?
If the problem persists, then it is most likely the bendix in the starter that is starting to corrode, and YES it's time to replace the starter.
How do you replace the electric window motor in a 1987 Bronco ll passenger window?
One last note...
Your local parts store should be able to test your starter on a machine, before you lay out the cash for a new one.
Probably the points in solenoid they are less than $10.00 and not hard o install. The solenoid is on starter.
