could be anything, you're definatly not going to find an answer here so take it to a shop let someone listen to it...or autozone will listen to it for free and tell you what they think. I've been working on cars for 20 years seriously this could be ANYTHING. Something small or something that could be small but get worse if not serviced soon. Or describe the noise better. Does it do it just when driving or when it's idling also, is it when you're turning or what. Is it from the engine or another part of the car? Hard to tell you what it could be without any info.

A stone, or worse a nail stuck in the tread of your tire.

Does any one know on a 2002 hyundai accent which fuse is 36 and relay 37 does? much appreciation for an answer

Does it make this noise when you're turning? If so, your CV joints/boots probably need servicing. If it does it all the time, it's definitely an engine problem (not transmission, not brakes, not suspension), and the list of things it could be is very long, so you'd have to have a mechanic check it out. If it's an intermittent ticking noise when you shut the engine off, that's normal -- it's just the engine cooling off.

How can you bring shine back to faded auto paint?

You may have a baseball card stuck in the hubcap.

Please help my car is driving me mad?

Make sure your engine oil is full. Check the level on the yellow handled oil level dipstick. Your engine valve lifters can make the ticking noise due to excessive clearance. Make sure your changing your engine oil regularly too. If I were you, I'd change over to a full synthetic engine oil like Mobil One:

If I could hear it, I could tell you for sure.
It could be anything from normal fuel injector noise, to a rod knock, or anything in between.

Anybody know about camaros and car alarms?

If the noise is new, it probably is not good, but check the oil on the dipstick first, before you start it again. Don't just pour more in. Too much oil is bad too.

Where is the battery located in a BMW 523?

If its coming from the engine, it could be a stuck lifter. Put a quart of Rislone in with the next oil change. It could also be a leak in the exhaust coming out a small hole near the engine, before the muffler

Could part of my fuse block be fried?

I hope this isn't the same think that I experienced a few years ago, I was on the expressway coming home and all of a sudden I hear this clicking noise. I couldn't understand what it could be. So I went to my mechanic immediately and he checked it out and then told me the bad news, I had run out of oil and now I had to have the whole transmission replaced! Yikes! I couldn't believe it, because I just had my oil replace a month earlier at J.L. FYI, my car was a Toyota Tercel with about 60,000 mi. on it and rarely need oil. Now whenever I have my oil replaced I check it right after a oil change just to make sure it's been changed.

Check the oil first. If you're in the Chicago land area I can tell you who my expert mechanic is.
