Dupont #7 car polish, a 41/2" or 71/4" angle grinder with a sheeps wool bonnet, no synthetic. wash car & dry. put polish on a small area and go to work, but dont hold pad in one place, it will burn the paint. you better plan on spending most of a day doing this, it takes time, but you will be pleased with the results. get 41/2" the 7 is better but its heavy. What integra motor can fit in 2000 civic ex or any other suggestions?

You need to use a product like `T cut' or Maguiar's cutting polish that will remove the top layer of grime and fade you may have to apply more than once if its really bad. Then finish with a polish that protects the new surface. See:http://meguiars.com/. They have on-line advice and you read the data on their products, which are generally great at restoring finishes.Depends how old it is, if it's 15 to 20 years old it most likely has a "clear coat" on it and it won't be so easy to shine it up. If it's older or has no clear coat, most cleaner/waxes will work fine. I like Nu-finish. It's cheap and works well. Meguirs is great also. Be sure to do it in the shade on a cool car (not hot after running it) or you'll get swirl marks on it.
