What's a cheap way to make my firebird faster?

sand the area until it is rust free using 100 grit dry sand paper in even circular motions. then wet sand with 200 grit in the same way. wipe clean with a non petroleum based cleaner then dry with a heat gun or hair dryer for a few minutes. spread a thin coat of body filler (mud) and let dry. sand smooth, fill any low spots then resand smooth. prime and paint and thats it!
